NetIP Chapters celebrate a record 2010!

2010 marked a groundbreaking and impactful year for NetIP chapters throughout North America.  This year, NetIP chapters held 675+ events and made unprecedented achievements in the areas of Professional Development, Community Service, Political Awareness, and Cultural Awareness.

Notable chapter accomplishments include:

·      Raised $120,000+ for cancer research, microfinance, child rights, and education

·      Granted the Second Annual Scholarship to fund the education of over 300 kids in India

·      Pioneered a Political Awareness initiative across North America, which included co-publishing a State of Asian Americans report to the House of Representatives and participating in a White House political service call with Kalpen Modi

·      Partnered with The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), Kaplan, Princeton Review, and other professional development organizations to hold graduate school admission workshops, career counseling sessions, and entrepreneurship coaching events

·      Organized numerous 400+ attendee cultural galas, featuring renowned speakers including Jay Sean and Edward Swiderski (The Bachelorette)

·      Led a South Asian Arts & Literary Festival and supported six South Asian film festivals across the United States and Canada
