NetIP Philadelphia – 2011 Year in Review!
NetIP Philadelphia had a successful year in 2011, building the brand locally through having consistently well-attended and fun events.
Our members know they can expect a networking night every month and a dinner event every other month. Because of the tough economic times, we make sure our dinner events are affordable and that we get discounts at our networking nights.
In addition, we have also formed partnerships with noteworthy groups from the Philadelphia area. These include the Art Museum, where we have recruited musical acts and arranged for our members to get free admission during several Art After 5 events.
For the fourth consecutive year, we participated and helped market the annual walk of the local chapter of Service and Education for Women Against Abuse. The walk has grown every year, with this year’s attracting over 25 people and raising over $1000 for the charity.
NetIP Philadelphia is also experimenting with new and innovative ways to raise money for charity. In the Dine to Donate program, participating restaurants donate a percentage of the sales to a designated charity for anyone who says they heard about the restaurant through NetIP.
NetIP Philadelphia has led the way in engaging young professionals in Philadelphia for the past several years. We have a strong standing in cultural events and community service, and have plans to build our professional development and political awareness pillars in the new year.
