On August 30th, NetIP Atlanta partnered with the American Cancer Society for the “India Run for Hope” event to raise money for cancer awareness in India. The highly successful event was attended by nearly 400 attendees and raised a substantial amount of donations.
The event’s impact and partnership in support of the American Cancer Society and the India Cancer Initiative is a great example of NetIP’s engagement in charitable programs.
On June 10th, 2009, NetIP Atlanta hosted the first of a series of events entitled “Aspire – Women’s Empowerment Program”. NetIP Atlanta reached out to its members to identify ways in which they could best serve the community and an idea was forged to dedicate a series of discussions to help empower women by introducing them to strong, independent, and successful women who have made an impact within their industry.
The event was very well received by attendees who were especially pleased with the interaction they had with guest speakers and the topics covered.
