Join NetIP Prime Time with Comedian Vidur Kapur

Prime Time with NetIP Presents a LIVE interview with Comedian Vidur Kapur

Join us September 28th, 7pm EST on Humdesi Radio.

Vidur Kapur’s stand-up comedy is based on the social commentary of a one-man culture clash. A South Asian raised in a conservative upper middle class family in New Delhi, an overachiever with a degree from The London School of Economics and Ph.D. coursework from the University of Chicago, a misfit in a family focused on arranged marriages and social status, a chic urban trend-crazy gay fashion victim in West Hollywood and Manhattan, a corporate executive from blue chip international firms, an immigrant to the US and a person horrified at being mistaken for a terrorist in a post 9/11 America.  Join in the laughter as we speak to Vidur about his struggles and his triumps in the big bad world of comedy.

NetIP interviews world renowned economist, Dr. Ravi Batra, on HumDesi Radio.

Dr. Ravi Batra, a world renowned economist and best selling author, was NetIP’s special radio guest this month on Prime Time with NetIP.  Batra shared his wisdom to listeners who were interested in what jobs will be on the rise in the upcoming years, where the recession is taking the U.S. economy, the economic impact of India in the next decade, as well as the life and times of Dr. Batra.

A multitude of questions poured in over email during the show: M. Ferber asked “What is your outlook for interest rates in the U.S.? Will the Fed be able to control the 3-4 Billion debt that the US creates each day?” Dr. Batra was very clear in his outlook on the economics.  Sandeep Saini asked “When do you think the housing market will improve in US?” Apurva Mistry and Ajay Sarpeshkar were more interested in learning about Batra’s personal strategies.

Dr. Batra is an exceptionally intelligent individual when it comes to economics, but it is his underlying philosophy that true happiness comes from service to others, which really gives him a unique and fresh perspective on the economic world. His vast economic knowledge is only deepened by the wisdom he attains from spending two hours a day meditating and practicing yoga.

Despite hardship in the economic world right now, Batra has an optimistic view of the future. While he feels we will continue to endure a struggle for more years to come, he predicts a “Golden Age” where there will be much prosperity throughout the world. He has been correct with many predictions in the past and hopefully this one will also come to fruition.
